Session #1

There were a number of 'How-To' demonstrations led by Ed, Larry, and David throughout the session. Larry demonstrated how he glues spars into EPP wing cores and also shaped a balsa tail using a hand plane and sand paper. Ed showed how to align, mark, glue and clamp the wood spar together and David demonstrated how he marks and precuts the EPP wing core before routering out the groove for the wood spars. Almost everyone present joined in with questions, points of interest, and suggestions that made the discussions particularly informative.
