Session #2

Larry and Dave covered several topics including a very trick
way of installing servos that allow for a quick repair or change out in the field should the need arise. They also covered installing the torque rods for ailerons and gave some options for hinging that were different, and in my opinion better than the directions that come with the kit.

Next came a brief discussion about installing the fuselage mounted gear which not only included the elevator servo but all of the carbon rods that stiffen the fuselage as well as the control rod that runs through the main body stiffening carbon tube.

We also managed to help Dave, Mike and Jeff get their wings routed out to receive the main wing spar and doublers so they should be on their way to getting the wings ready for taping by the next meeting.
