2009 Misty Meadows Soaring Classic

Terry Edmonds, gracious host and CD of this years Eastern Iowa Soaring Society's Misty Meadows Contest, sure picked out a great weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday saw temps around 70, light winds, and lots of thermals. Terry hosts this event in his own back yard which it truly an amazing spot to fly. 5 rounds were flown each day each class. Unlimited both days, 2m Sat. and RES Sun. There was a good turnout both days. Great food, competition, and fun had by all.
